    I clean everything off my sewing cabinet before I start to quilt, did this once. Never did it again.

    Just showed my DH your post. He chuckled (he is a new quilter - just finished his first flannel quilt) and said "just stitch on a whole bunch of other enders and tell everyone you planned it that way. I'm gonna check his work more carefully from now on )

    A friend of mine who quilts for folks who write books did this wonderful thread painted quilt for a show. She was working late the night before she had to turn an ender jumped onto the back of the quilt -- so she decided to add a couple more and turned the quilt in. She called it back art.
