Default Craftsy.com Bom 2015 - finally finished top

    Hi there

These blocks have been languishing in a project box for months, waiting for me to find the right sashing/border fabric! I did have some of the recommended sashing stripe, but not enough.

The basket blocks are hand-pieced at 60% of the original size, so it's a 54 inch square wall-hanging rather than a bed-quilt. The other blocks are foundation paper pieced.

Some of the blocks are supposed to have appliquéd flowers too, but at the smaller size the appliqué pieces became too small and fiddly for me, so I've left them off.

Mine is fabric taken from stash, although the original quilt fabric from Craftsy is beautiful.

Now I have to decide how to quilt it lol.

What a beautiful perfect sashing that compliments the brightly colored blocks.

Stunning. Love your flower blocks & the black brings it out beautifully. Your choice of sashing is perfect.
