Sharon and sewbiz girl, what pretty finishes. Just finished cutting up all my scraps, which for me is anything under a fat 8th. Don't they look nice, in bins, stacked in rows.
The orphan blocks are separate--enough to make 2 lap quilts. The crumbs filled two kitchen size trash bags. I am bringing those Brother Wolf rescue. Just need to put everything away and....I can start making a mess again and create more scraps! Wait, isn't this where I vow to never let it get this bad again?

Just finished the horizontal denim quilt...adding the baseball really added to it...I was able to fold over the backing as binding...love using Elmer's glue to hold it in place..pressed it down with an iron and was ready to sew. Have the denim squares quilt ready to sandwich...it too will have a flannel backing...Will use Elmer's to glue as well..
Thanks for sewing with me...have a good week...

oksewglad, you are brave making those denim quilts. Denim is not the easiest to work with, I know... Bet they will last forever, too.
Excellent scrap cutting and organizing, Krisb. Hope you will be inspired to use some of them in awesome scrappy quilts.
I'm calling it a day and hitting the sack... great VQW with all of you!

I didn't finish but I got a lot done -- this is for my great GD Kaitlyn in Alaska. She will get it before she is a year old -- I'm slow this summer.
Thanks for the extra push with the virtual group.
I love all the pix of what was done.

Wow! So many wonderful projects!
I finished one of my UFO tops and donated it to my church group this morning. They will finish it. I also delivered some batting that had been donated to the group. It feels great to have things going out of the house.

Oh, I love this photo! Inspires me and makes me sing opera at the very sight of all that happy organization! I know exactly what you mean about those vows, though. I can set up any system, but maintaining one has never won me a gold medal. Go play!
