Sister and I have been taking mini vacation road trips around seeing the different sites we have not seen in Oregon (where we live) I have lived in Springfield/Eugene for over 20 years and have not seen all of Oregon. Last week we went south to Creator Lake. Also stopped at some cute fabric shops in Ashland and Medford.
This last week we went North to Seattle, WA and took the ferry to Friday Harbor, San Juan Island. WOW WOW !!!!
If anyone comes my way let me know and I will hook you up.

Mine are there waiting. I have been sewing with Anna so not getting my projects done. We are having lots of fun. We are half way thru a Row by Row quilt and hope to have done by tomorrow. She will be turning it into a store in our area that does not have a winner. Then we will be going to the fair. I did notice that all my pillows I made for the fair, four of them, took seconds. Not sure why, maybe my corners were not perfect enough, they weren't stuffed just right, I don't know yet. Not an expert at pillows. Then I did see my Christmas bargello have a blue ribbon on it which is good. I have 24 items in the fair, bound to be something better than just reds and blues right? LOL Daughter entered a quilt and cookies. Hopefully she gets a blue to keep her encouraged. Will report once we go to fair.

Dotty I love that sneak peek. They remind me of my dad's gourds he would put out only bigger for Martin Birds, and then he would plant a lot of decorative squash type gourds, etc. They will make beautiful pot holders.
