Love your colors Mary. Now that I'm back home, I really need to look through my stash for just the right fabric. Unfortunately my heart and mind are still in Ohio with my family.

Okay--finished, but too tired to deal with pictures just now. I chose fabrics and did today's clue (x6--since, I want a bigger quilt). I'm going to reserve judgment on my A fabric until I see how big we cut it--I think the one I chose will work, but if not, I'll find another (I'm not short of fabric!). I decided not to go scrappy this time--when we are done I might make another.

    Thanks, Judy--I love these mysteries.

Hey lawsonmugs, your fabrics are great. This is my first train ride, are we suppose to guess what to do with the pieces our engineer has told us to make? I need a snack......

I haven't done a mystery for a while so decided to do this one. Wanted to do Halloween but having trouble deciding. But that's always my trouble. So maybe you wonderful ladies can help me. I wanted to use the candy for "A" but thought it was too big and too much background. So then I thought I would use the pumpkins for "A". Then I thought maybe the yellow was too bright and I should use ivory. Oooohhh, the possibilities. Someone please help! You would think that at my age I would be able to make decisions. Nope!

OH WOW DD I love your fabric, a girl after my own heart. That pumpkin material is soooooooooooo cool.

Made 3x the amount, want larger quilt, but will have to add in with borders. I love to do E. Burn's twisted ribbon border. I think it would look really good in yellow and orange with black background.

dd, Love your Halloween colors and I like both of the blacks. Since we aren't cutting "A" yet, maybe your decision can wait until we see how big the cut pieces will be.

dd--Your pumpkins look much the same scale as Judy's A fabric to me. Nice choices.

DD I love the pumpkins, and I love the fabrics you have chosen to go with! I enjoy sewing for fall, so many beautiful options! I might make two also, the gray and pink for my great niece and a fall table runner for me!

My UFO's have been surprisingly fun to work on. When I quit sewing about two years ago, I just stopped! put everything in boxes and now I am having fun trying to figure out what I was doing with each one! Almost like a mystery quilt of my very own, that could end up very different than I originally planned!

There are going to be some beautiful quilts in here judging from the fabric I see!
