Wow, Judy, what a beautiful pattern and runner. I haven't picked out my fabric yet but will definitely be making this one. Thank you so much for all your hard work to make us happy!

Yeah, Jan, I felt bad that the mystery wasn't a mystery to you! I should have waited 6 months and just used it without saying anything to you. Oh well. But both your toppers are beautiful. This pattern really adapts well to the setting triangles.

Corner square -- Assemble with the squares and HSTs. Each 4-1/2” block will have 2 HST in C/D and one each of a 2-1/2” square of A and C. See picture. You will have 12 of this unit. All will look alike. Watch alignment of pieces.

Should this be one each of a 2.5" square of C and D?

Angelia, yes, today you will use the little pieces you cut and set aside last week. Unless I missed something, the only cutting to do today is the 6-1/2" squares. But I typed the directions wrong.

But looks like I did make a huge typo - in the corner squares you should be using B and D, typo in the directions. The background 2.5" squares D and the B will be used, the B being the same same as is used in the HSTs.

I hope everyone sees this. I can't believe I did this.

Nothing to feel bad about. I had fun. I'm still working on my three from this mystery as we speak. Using different fabrics makes each block a mystery in itself. Sometimes life requires a little white lie, like this mystery, or the guy that tells his wife she still looks as good as she did at 18! lol

I went running to my sewing machine so excited and I made one block. I'm happy, it's beautiful! Now, I think I will go and try a nova before I tackle the other 11. Thanks so much! This is a great ride and I'm planning on the scrappy one in two weeks! Yay! I have scraps.
