    It's called "Nova" pattern from book Scrap Basket Sensations by Kim Brackett

    That is a lovely block! Like jmoore, I'm especially interested in the batiks. It's wonderful how some of the seemingly boring, muddy, washed out pieces start to glimmer next to the pale-bright batiks. It's a wonderful inspiration to use up some of my "ugly" scraps!
