I've spent the afternoon cutting squares...the fabrics are all over the place...I'm digging in my 2 1/2" and 5" scrap bins to come up with a variety for every one....I figure I'm reducing my stash by a couple of yards....

You're welcome...I have been given lots of scraps....more than I will ever use...so this is a great way for me to PIF. I have just finished blocks using 2.5 " squares for QOV and am starting another as a leaders and enders. Here's a link for the quilt...

Sorry, I didn't get to leave work today before the Post office was closed. I have tomorrow off from work so they will be going to the Post Office tomorrow for sure.

oksewglad, I love the 2 1/2" charm log cabin block. I just happened upon it about a week ago and have already went through my 2 1/2" supply and puled out quite a few for it and have the background fabric already. I am anxious to work on it at a Quilt Retreat I am going to soon. Have to work on a couple quilts for Xmas presents first.

aborning, I would seriously consider taking your squares and making 4P's for every block...you can make these mindlessly as leaders and enders...then finish the blocks with 3 4P's and a square and a log for the lower right 4th corner and add a log on the right side then on the bottom...same block, but easier to put together IMHO....
