I made eight wool dryer balls over a year ago, and they do a good job of keeping the wrinkles down and drying the clothes or fabrics faster. Besides, I no longer buy dryer sheets....one less thing to buy at the store.

I use 100% wool dryer balls I purchased at the PA Farm Show. I love them, but I don't think that they cut down on wrinkles. Its all about how fast you get them out of the dryer. LOL!

I don't think they do such a great job but beats dryer sheets and saves money.

Thanks all. Looks like mixed results on the wool balls and wrinkles, though shortening the dryer time is a plus. MacyBaby I think I will try the towel in the dryer. I have one of those dryers that twists my sheets and long pieces of fabric and I do have an old towel that would work.

I use a wool dryer ball all the time. I bought it at an organic food store. I can't remember the brand. It works well for static, but I really can't answer if it would make a difference for wrinkles. The thing I can tell you though is that the wool dryer ball is loud and clunky! So if your dryer is not closed off from your main sitting area you might not want to use it.

Never heard of them.
Less items in dryer will reduce wrinkles.

Remember when using dryer sheets the oil will gather on the filters, check each time and clean often
If you do not do this the dryer will run hotter and slower.

Good point Francies41. dryer sheets do cause a build up in the dryer, Fabric softeners cause a build up in your washer. If you are washing polar fleece do not use either one and do not use liquid laundry detergent. Those products cause the polar fleece to become stiff over time and reduce the amount of wind resistance in the fleece. I use the dryer balls from Norwex. I think they work well for me.
