    I would like to use this method for mug rugs/coasters. Would you do it without batting, with 4 layers of material would they be thick enough? or just use one piece of batting? I feel like 2 layers of batting would make coasters too fluffy. Please let me know what you think..

    i have made 10 of these pot holders . they make up sew easy and quick.. nice idea on coasters and mug rugs.. i am sure you can make the coasters and mug rugs the same.. will find out.. thanks again

    I love your tute. I have a hard time finding hot pads that match the colors in my kitchen. I also have a large fabric stash. I will definitely make some of these.
