Why is it amazing that a man made the dress? Gender has nothing to do with being able to sew well.

It is about the love he has for her and an expression of those feelings. My first husband was the one who taught me how to sew.

She does look young. But we all did....at one time. LOL.

Something made me wonder if he's an engineer or majoring in engineering. Those guys would have no trouble with construction, or, perhaps, even creating his own pattern.

We used to square dance with a couple, the husband of which made his own shirt and vest to match his wife's dress and matching shirts for their young sons. He said he grew up watching his mother sew so just "knew how."
