I'd love to do this pattern, but as a beginner it is so daunting. I should probably buy the pattern before I miss out on it though.

CMW, your elephant is amazing...I cannot imagine how many pieces and the time it has taken you but I can see why you are pleased with the end result...it is fantastic.
