Here's one of the March blocks. This will have to do this month. I'm hoping to get back to the other later this year. Thanks for the good selections

Still interested, but wasn't able to sit long enough to sew after my March 1st fall down steps. I'm finally back in the groove (though my legs are tingling from the hips down when I sit or stand too long). I cut out some of the pieces for the broken dishes block yesterday. I like both blocks and plan to do both. Just can't decide if I want to make a whole sampler quilt--and if so, for whom? I think I decided I'm going to make a pillow with 4 of the blocks.

Thinking about each of you facing physical challenges that keep you from your beloved hobby. Hoping that you will find the best mix of rest and patience to work around your obstacles and that you are feeling better soon. Pam

Zozee, just take your time to heal - just work on the blocks a little at a time. It's never easy to fall, weird how much harder the ground is than what it was years ago! lolo I fell couple years ago, out feeding my squirrels and birds, slipped on wet leaves, down I went, with left leg folded backwards! AND I was by myself! Managed to get up, get to the porch. I still have problems with that knee. Since then I tread very carefully out there! Hope you recoup soon.. Just sew a little at a time. Jean

Default Look What I Got In The Mail Today!

Just wanted to share my excitement....doesn't take much...but fabric is definitely one of my greatest joys!

A sweet friend sent it to me, she has had me guessing for days now! All she said was a package was at the Post Office for me. We are rural and wasn't going out Monday or Tuesday...but today...and I'm so glad I did..here's what I got except for the Smiley Ball! lol

All of the fabric is just beautiful and I love it...thanks my friend!

Hugs,
Betty

Oooo Betty, that's real pretty fabric you received, love the polka dots!

Mary Christine, all your blocks look great, my favorite is your Barrister Block.
