I agree with imanna Wow! What a huge great quilt. You must be so proud of it... Great job.mnt grandma like your precipitation panel as well as the temps . I don't have enough rainy days to include them on mine.

Tomorrow they are predicting 4 inches of snow. Hope I can get enough to dye some blue fabric..then I'm set for the year.

Default here's Jan. - March done

Hey all, here's my progress so far Jan. through March from left to right. There are 2 columns for each month, the first column is the high temps and the second column is the lows. I think next time (if I do another one) I won't do half square triangles, or perhaps will be more careful in picking out colors for the temp. ranges. I like what I've got and am getting a lot of practice on accurately piecing HSTs, but I don't think it really tells the story of the temps.

I like the way you have it laid out, keeping the lows separate from the highs. Its looking good

Rob, that is great! I am so impressed!

I will say all these pictures are making me a little jealous. I dropped the temperature quilt because it was stressing me out, and quilting should not be stressful. But I love looking at the pictures and progress!

It took me years to learn to use black...it makes things pop so beautifully. My snow didn't stick yesterday..so no dyeing.

can you use crushed ice instead? I'm thinking a bag of ice and a hammer kind of thing....
