That is one darling quilt! Looks like you did some trapunto on it. Love the way the figures pop.

Antylu, You could include a note on pretty acid free paper, in a sealed envelope, telling the little girl all about the pieces of it, and a nice note from you to be opened on her 18th birthday. Your quilt is a masterpiece, make it an heirloom.

madamekelly, what a great idea! I will have to do that, I made a bag of trims, fabrics, and the threads used in case it needs to be repaired and I could just go ahead and put it in with that. Thank you!!!

I am not quite sure how to use the site, I tried quote and it wouldn't let me type in it; wanted to reply to this very kind poster. Hope she gets the message!
