We need a WOWZA button. That is simply so beautiful. Love the colors.

Note to self .... next time you are making an "odd shaped" quilt and decide you are going to square it ... make this decision BEFORE you sew it all together! what a PITA LOL

Kristakz - you might regret that LOL ... I'm almost done ... Just have the corners to do.

For the people that are following this thread, Krista is the fabulous person who does my long arm quilting!!!!!! And such an amazing job of it too!

I have this pattern but have not tried it yet - I'll watch to see how you make out - maybe I'll attempt to do mine.

sgray7169 - it's not hard. It's just a LOT of paper piecing and making sure you are VERY organized.

Also - if you want it to be square and not scalloped then plan this ahead ... I am now sewing on "extras" to square it off LOL ... it's very bulky and annoying!

I love that pattern! Cannot wait to see your rich reds and grey-blacks all sewn up. Good luck.

( a bit later ) - I just went through the pages and saw all the progress pictures. I am in AWE! I love it. You are doing a tremendous job. If I were there with you, I'd give you a hug and a Snickers bar.

Also, I want to say to auntierah09 that you quilt is gorgeous too. You both do beautiful work.

I just wanted to add that it is wonderful that you are taking so many "in progress" pictures for yourself AND for us.

OK! I'm 99% done!!!! I just need to decide what colour border - red or black? Help!

I made it square since I didn't like the scalloped edges!

STUNNING!! Can't wait to see how you quilt it (or have it quilted).

If you use a LA quilter that is computer guided there are some gorgeous digital designs out there for this pattern.

    Quiltworx sells two:

    http://store.quiltworx.com/product-p/DQD12711033.htm

    Here are a couple others

You can find others if you google Bali Wedding star Digitized pattern
