Unhappy Huskvarna Mega Quilter 18x8 Problems

If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate them!

I purchased a used Mega Quilter and frame and can't get the stitch regulator to work. Talked with the Huskvarna saleswoman at Joann's, but they do not service that particular machine any longer. Referred me to Tin Lizzie, requested it be sent to them. (no box)

So far I've cleaned the encoder tracks and replaced the cable to the encoder.

If anyone has had problems, please let me know how you fixed them.

I don't have that machine , but check to see if the encoder wheels are actually ON the tracks. Ask me how I know!

Just remember, this quilting on a track frame is an adventure. Every issue teaches you to troubleshoot. Ask me know I know! Deep breaths...

Also check that the encoder wheels are actually spinning/moving when the carriage moves - they can look like they're making contact and aren't. You may have to get someone to help you watch while you move the carriage. Good luck.

and also check that the encoders are plugged in correctly--with my Gammill the black wire must be on the top of the connector to work--and also check to make sure that there is not a nest of threads "freezing" the encoder wheels.

Not familiar with your machine so that is about all I can suggest. But do google and see if there are any YouTubes out there on it or the Tin Lizzie. Good luck!
