Default What's a good pantograph for this fabric?

Suggestions for a quilting panto that will not compete with this fabric. Any and all suggestion welcome. Thanks in advance!

Very pretty. I just FMQ on my regular sewing machine.

Lovely fabric! If you did a matching thread colour, any pattern would blend in. I might be tempted to do a paisley panto just because I love paisley.

Why not just use the pattern IN the fabric as your quilting guide? It has curls and swirls galore and highlighting them might just be the trick.

I have followed the lines in the paisley, free-motion, for a couple quilts, and it turned out pretty good.

I use this free panto website for inspiration: http://www.designsbyvickie.com You might find something there.

I would just use a pattern that provides texture, not something with recognizable images in it, because they would be very difficult to see on that busy fabric. Something like: Hitch, Popcorn, Happy Times, meandering, dwirling (which is not a pantograph but a fun and easy freehand that looks like a topographical map).

I seldom use pantos but just wanted to add how much I love that fabric...I tend to agree with those who have suggested that you use the paisley design in the fabric as your quilting guide.

I have had that fabric and made a beautiful quilt, I just did a meander when quilting. This is by far one of my favorite fabrics!

Ditto what quiltingshorttimer said. That is GORGEOUS fabric. I'd probably use a panto that sort of flowed with the paisley so as not to detract from it's awesomeness! I LOVE IT! And you've probably had it in your stash a while.
