Oh, your block is beautiful. I have never been able to wrap my head around paper piecing. It all seems so backwards to me. I've practiced a few times & have managed to make a few blocks that look pretty good but did not feel like all the time & struggle I had with making them was really worth it in the long run. Plus the fact that many times my fabric was short & I had to rip out & use a larger piece. Ugh! I will think about this class & may try it out to see if her method makes more sense to me. Thanks for sharing your accomplishment.

Beautiful block and fabrics. I've never stuck with paper piecing long enough to say whether I like it. The results I've seen have been rewarding, but I just need to do more. Thanks for the resource. Sometimes my brain just needs a certain teacher to help connect the dots, as it were.

Great block, Watson. I love to paper piece. I learned in a class at a LQS here. I do have to think about it and get my mind around what I think of as backwards piecing when I haven't done it in a while. But once I get into it, I really enjoy it.

Pretty blocks! I actually prefer the freezer paper method where you fold the paper back and sew along the edge. No paper to remove later and you can reuse the pattern a couple of times.

Your block is beautiful. I have tried PP twice and it just seems so awkward to me. I would like to learn it though.

Thanks for posting. I sent you a message from my e-mail adress. I just bought the class. Can't wait to try it!
BTW...does Craftsy have any free classes? If it does, how do I access them? Thank you.

You have done a beautiful job. I am taking that class and love it. So far I have done 3 tops and am working on the others. It is a class well worth taking.
