I see a table runner being made from this , some placemats, etc. I like them and I would use the floral, borderd by the green (bottom)followed by the striped or checkered on . You like them, that is all that counts

That was my reaction too.

Not crazy about red checks with the others but I like them!

Man alive, are we all ever different! I love the checkered fabric with the green ornament fabric on the right! It is going to make that baby stand up and sing! Love it!

I love 3 of them - the ornaments and the stripes especially appeal to me. The checked red and white fabric seems "off" - the others are softer, especially paired with the gold. The checked one is very bright and jars me.

That being said, I have been proven wrong many times by quilters on this board (the orange and yellow log cabin comes to mind). But the most important thing is what YOU like!

I agree with those that say if you like them use them and prove your friend wrong. I can remember my granddaughter buying fabric for his 1st quilt--pink-purple-green-blue-etc the shop owner and grandma said no that won't work. Try this -this and this but NO she wanted what she picked and let me tell you it was one of the most beautiful quilts I have ever seen. Wish I could find the pic.

I was thinking the same, Barb. The checkered fabric doesn't seem to go with the other to me, but as others have said if you like them go with it. You'll probably prove me wrong!

I like them all! My friend of over 50 years and I both quilt...we are on the opposite fabric spectrum! Love her to death, but we disagree on fabric a lot!!
