    You inspired me to use up some strips I inherited so here is what I created based on your wonderful idea. I needed a 'guy' type quilt and this will work well. It will have a soft very narrow wale corduroy backing. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me. P.S. I barely made a dent in the strips so am taking them and the idea to my guild to see if everyone wants to join in the fun.
