Your OBW's are beautiful, as is your "helper".

I love OBW blocks. Yours are pretty. However, Echo is a scene stealler.

You picked the perfect fabric for those. It's going to be a great quilt.

Great blocks. Love the parrot. Hair needs some work.

Beautiful blocks! I need to try this. Also, I'm sure Echo is an inspiring helper--does she talk?

Yes, she talks ... too much sometimes LOL I've had her for 16 years, (since she was 5 months old) and her vocabulary is quite amusing at times!

Kudos to Cheesehead for getting the right type of parrot! I've had people ask me why I have a pet pigeon LOL

Artsyone - now that you mention it, yes they do! And cabbage and kale LOL

LindaMRB - she picks them up out of the garbage and throws them back onto the floor. When I'm pulling off the paper for paper piecing, she's in seventh heaven!

Sewbizgirl - yes, those are Kaffe Fasset prints! Here's a pic of the fabric before I cut it up (minus the 8 inches I already took off)

And I decided to do a few more blocks ... and then I'll start sewing them together ... my idea is to have a staircase of cubes going through the quilt ... like a walk in the garden. I saw it on pinterest and really liked the idea.
