Beautiful top Sandra. Jane I like your blocks. This thread is eye candy.

Ahh ... I just went and looked at the printed design again. when I designed the block I designed them at 45 degrees, but when I plugged the block into the sashing piece it may have skewed the angle. I'll take a look at it again, but I don't think it's going to change the overall look of the quilt when I put it together.

There is also the fact that in my design I only made the neutrals 'scrappy'. In *my* quilt ALL the colors are scrappy. I just didn't feel like messing around with too many colors in EQ (and the selection is rather limited).

Krista, I really like what you did with the diagonal blocks. Those have been such a stumbling point for me in a design layout.

Yay, Jane, your 50 blocks are done! They look beautiful.

I should have my first 30 done soon (the main block), and then I'll start on the 20 in which I'm planning to reverse the position of the geese. I'll just do a few and then check to make sure I like it. I've managed to avoid much ripping thus far.

Can't wait to see your finished top, sewbizgirl!

That's a very interesting layout, Sue. Being behind can turn out to be an advantage with these mysteries.

    Lovely blocks, Jane!

Hopefully you can take a picture of your top soon, Sewbiz!

Now to get the big one put together - but first I have to decide which way I like best.
I really like these colors. I think they showcase the pattern better than Bonnie's colors. Where is the big "love" button?

I only have 4 blocks done. I did those right after the reveal and then was caught up in other interests (I had a new loom to play with). It took me so long to catch up here. I am surprised at how many finished tops there are already.

This has been so interesting to see everyones take on the design. I still have not decided on a layout. I don't care for those parallelograms (I don't even like spelling it) so I am not sure what to do with them.

Ditto ... that's why I call them chevrons

Great finish Sandra, and congrats on your new machine. That is a wonderful gift. Sew biz, I think BH does use EQ as I have read that on her blog before. I don't know which version she has though.

As I have said everyone's quilts are turning out beautiful. Peggy your lavender & teal shades are gorgeous and SBG your border is going to be amazing. I printed out MMMQ pattern, but how did you figure out how much to change the size of the blocks? That must have taken a lot of thought.
