Another thought -- coloring pages. You can find different shapes of pots to use for applique by doing a search for tea pot coloring pages. Here are a few that turned up from my search:

Found teapot in Easy Paper Piecing by Bonnie K. Browning, 2013, which says it is selected from AQS Paper Piecing Patterns, 1999.
