Or... I just thought of another idea. A big salad with different kinds of greens. Hide a little bunny near by for a bit of spring frolic on this April Fool's Easter day.

There will be only 4 or 5 of us after we have attended sunrise services, breakfast at church, and then our regular Sunday services.
We always have either crawfish stew, bisque, or boiled crawfish for Easter. I live in southern Louisiana and crawfish is a staple here at this time of the year. Happy Easter! Enjoy your day.

We are also having leg of lamb. Steaming some asparagus and tiny creamer potatoes. NY style cheesecake for dessert.

There will only be 4 of us this year. Having the usual---spiral ham with glaze, funeral potatoes (Recipe on this site), green bean casserole, deviled eggs, tossed salad, veggies and dip (our appetizer), Cherry Delight (this site again), Lemon Meringue pie.
Kids have asked for "Throwed Rolls" like the ones they throw to the customers at Lambert's in Sikeston, Missouri, or in Gulf Shores...

Making doubles of some things because we need gluten and dairy free for DH!

i highly recommend "Peeps". They look springy and so cheerful on the table - while they last.

2 different kinds of egg bakes, sliced ham, caramel rolls, fruit salad, juice, coffee, poppy seed bread, and a dish of assorted Easter candy (mostly chocolate!).

I like the jello ideas. I also like the 7 layer salad. Always seems fresh and includes yummy ingredients - eggs, bacon, onion, green peppers, peas with the lettuce. Yumm

I opened this thread thinking I was going to see some cute Easter china/place settings because of the title! :-) Tells you my interest is more in the settings than what's on them! :-) :-)
