That donkey is adorable! I love drafting my own patterns and I tried drafting a PP once. Only once... shudder.

I fixed my old machine!! I love Loving Stitches quilt shop because the technician there is a miracle worker. It's purring along now and just in time.

So, I went through all the messages and the PM's I received for individuals joining our swap and we have 23 people who expressed an interest and here they are. If you are on the list for potential swappers, please pm me to confirm participation.

Wow, more participants than I realized! Hopefully many will confirm

I thought of doing the donkey paper pieced, but decided to go "conventional" piecing instead. I'm really surprised I only lost one little point. My piecing has definitely gotten better compared to even just a few months ago.

We ended up busy last night, so not much progress, but I hope tonight I can get all my pieces cut out for the rest of my blocks (it's a goal anyway).

And, thanks, everyone. I found a photo of a donkey with adorably long ears, and that really inspired the length of the ears on my block.

Currently I am not planning to do this swap. I am so sorry as I have known for some time I will not be able to do the swap. I really enjoy all the work everyone is doing.

Sorry I am not in the swap, I only posted a comment about a BOM that is offering barnyard animal patterns monthly. I am enjoying seeing what everyone is doing though, love the donkey!

Sorry graceful Ann I didn't realise I had made it sound like I had signed up - I have definitely just been a lurker for this swap due to time constraints

I am sorry also, but can't do the swap. I sent PM explaining. I went back through and seen that I had made 2 comments on a post sorry for the confusion.

I won't be able to join in either. We got confirmation this past week that we are moving 195 miles away in late May/early June.

Well, I'm still here...!

I have all my donkeys and cows cut out, just need to piece them together. I got all my sheep pieced tonight, I'll just have to trim them before sending them away... (these I drew up with graph paper)
