Singer 128k in Card Table
I brought this sewing machine card table home from a neighbors estate sale. First thought was that it’s the featherweight table, but the opening is too big (18 1/2 “ x 8 1/4”) to fit a featherweight.
From Ismaacs I figured out this 128 with its wood base fits just right. Ismaacs is the only reference I have found on this size card table with this size machine.
The sewing machine needs either either a motor or conversion to hand crank. It came without the power cord or knee bar and the table top needs some tlc so it’s going to be a project.

I have seen similar tables in blond wood finishes. One for a Singer 99 like yours, another worked pefectly with a Husqvarna CB 12. As mentioned you have a model 99, its' not a 128. The nice thing about this table is you can place the entire wooden case flush with the table. A 128 is a long bobbin model, and has two bobbin covers across the machine bed on either side of a round needle plate.

Thanks Mickey2, I was confused about the model as I’ve seen the description for 128 as you described, but then serial # matched up with 128. Interesting to know what other machine can fit into the table.
Double checking serial # I found my mistake: My 99 is Y series with 7 numbers, I had stopped in the Y series with 6 numbers.

I have found that the depth of the case between the 99 and the 128 is different. I have a cabinet that you can drop one into, and it needs a spacer for the shorter base.
Singer made tables for both the full size and 3/4 size bases, along with the FW and the 301 and 401 sizes. They are all different.
This particular base should have a hole for the knee controller, however the table probably was not made for a machine base with that set up, as it's quite a bit newer. My cabinet is set up for a machine with a knee controller, however it takes a special knee bar as the one that works with the portable base does not fit.
