    Great job ... perfect colours and subject matter for a man-quilt.

    Hope you are still going to repair his old/used one as obviously he wants to keep it.
    Maybe give it to him when before you give him the new quilt ... and then surprise him with the new one.

    mended d returned his old quilt already--started this new one and had it on the frame before I returned old one
