What a great idea. The teacher will cherish this, and think back on her two students who's mother took the time to make this for her. It's beautiful!!!!

I'm not very good at it - the quilt police would be aghast at my uneven, too-big stitches - and I'm certain I will never hand-quilt anything larger, but this pillow-sized project was perfect to carry with me to pass the time at my son's jiu jitsu class, or waiting in the school pickup line.
