The workmanship is wonderful on your quilt; it is really gorgeous. But the love shining through is what makes this quilt so special. Your mother will love and treasure it!

So sorry for your loss. What an awesome treasure for your Mom. She will be feeling hugs from your Dad everytime she wraps herself in this very nice quilt. You did a great job on it.
