I was recently given a box of Greist Antique attachments - can anyone tell me what machine or machines they will fit?

I don't know what I am doing wrong, have been trying for couple of days to get a picture on here. What machines did Greist make attchments for?

I have old Singer attatchments that say Greist.

You may have to reduce the size of your pictures to be able to post them here. When I take photos with my IPhone, I have to reduce them down to 25% of the original before they will upload.

SteveH posted an answer to that question at Greist sewing attachments He said,Unfortunately a lot of images on that thread don't show up. There is some good information about some of the top-clamp feet, as there were a lot of them that have different spacing especially on post #8.

I made a study of them, and there are measurements you can take to narrow down what they fit. However if you have set with the underbraider, that part was unique for many machines, so unless it was swapped out it can be used to determine what they will fit.

I think I have over 50 sets that are unique. Probably for 10-15 different manufacturers, and then several variations for some as they changed over the years.

It's funner trying to figure out the sets that are pre-Greist!

The accessories that have nothing to do with sewing that end up in the boxes or drawers add to the fun also.

Ignition points are my favorite. Shiney, small with a spring on them. must be for a sewing machine.

Those pictures all got detached because I had a problem with my photobucket account and had to "move" my machine collection pictures and it broke all the links.
