Default Lambeau’s heaven

My son and his family had to say goodbye last year to their beloved dog, Lambeau. We all miss him. I saw a quilting friend working on this pattern during an open sew, and it looked just like Lambeau! My friend was kind enough to loan me her pattern, and this is what I came up with. The original pattern had the dog carrying a bouquet of tulips, but Lambeau loved fetching sticks, so I changed that. The quilting is done in gold metallic. I’m sorry but I don’t remember the name of the quilt, since I returned it to my friend! I gave it to my kids this week. They seemed touched to receive it.

I am sure they will cherish the tribute you made for their sweet boy. It's always hard to lose a beloved pet. What a lovely thing you did for them:-)

That's a nice rendition of the dog, based on your photo. And the stick works for many dogs.

How sweet and thoughtful. Lord bless your family as they adjust to the loss of their furry friend.
