Beautiful quilt, QNS! If you posted it before, I missed it. It's lovely. Pretty fabric too and it made such good stack & whacks.

That sure is a winner, QNS. Thanks for showing all the fabrics, too.

Thank you everyone. It took me awhile to do it all. It costs me $$$ to have quilted; I was going to sent it to a friend if she paid the LA fee, but she said she didn't have the money and I would have to pay the postage to ship it to her, so I still have the quilt. I will make her a smaller lap quilt when I get time. 'Cause she bragged that she was worth way more than I will ever be worth in a later phone call. I am happy for her, but I cannot afford the loss of expenses or time to 'gift' it to her...guess that is why she has more $s than she can spend in her lifetime. I just have more fabric than I can use up in my lifetime. LOL!

Must have been Givio that ask about the fabric I used in it.

I will continue to use it and our kids have another quilt to inherit.

Oh, it’s just lovely Sue! It makes me happy looking at it.
DH & went to a board meeting of the Lake Club. It was a mess. I’m glad it is over!
I’m frustrated today posting from my phone. I do hope to get my computer back soon.

Gee, daughter and family left on January 14th and we just made up the guest beds today, not admit that we are moving slower in our older age! Dh's cousin and wife may be here tomorrow to play cards with us and his brother will be down on Thursday so I may have to dust a bit.

Two more rows completed and I will be sewing my Christmas Burg into a quilt and putting a border on it. Hope you have your computer back Dublb.

It is raining here these days, which is better than snow, I think. Everyone must be very busy in their lives right now, no news is good news is the old saying, and I hope that is true in all your lives right now.

Just been busy with 2nd grandbaby prep, Sue... I just finished these animals for a mobile my daughter wants to make to hang above her baby's bassinet. I'm also trying to finish a Red Riding Hood doll for a birthday present for DD, so I can send all together. So... haven't even been sewing much, just knitting madly!

    Cute little critters, Bonnie.

My nephew is graduating from Police Academy the end of the month...I put together a denim quilt for him with some orange police themed fabric on the back...have it quilted and may get the binding on tonight.

Sunday the Grand girls looked through fabric 10 yo DGS wants to make pillowcases. She found some horse fabric that will work just great and then a rope fabric caught her eye and there's enough cowboy boot fabric left over from big sis's Crazy Pony quilt for cuffs. Does any of this sound familiar QNS? She was so excited! Will share pictures when we get them done!

Then 13 yo thought she'd like to make pillowcases too and found some fabric...but then recalled the fabric she set aside for Gram to make a quilt for her...well maybe she can make it for herself...of course. She choose the Warm Wishes pattern. We worked in EQ and have enough fabric to make a nice quilt for her with leftover for pillowcases. so on weekends we will be sewing!!

Oh what a day at work today...customers all day long and I am beat...all for now.

OK, how fun to be able to sew with your grands! I hope that happens to me one day. They say it skips a generation, so fingers are crossed!

Tonight I finally finished the Red Riding Hood doll I've been working on for my daughter. It's a birthday gift that she is not expecting. It was an absolute beast to make!

Wow, SBG, love your little figures. They are all so sweet! Great gifts from the heart.

OK, sounds like the Grans are enjoying shopping in your stash! When the Lord graces me and adds $$$$ to our budget, I will ship out the boxes to you all. They await patiently under my Grace Quilting frame. Every month seems like things get a little tighter. Still smiling, but the standard cost of living is here and hurting in retirement.
