    I used a facing on my collage wall hanging. I looked at several methods on YouTube and then mainly followed the method from Quilt Roadie. https://youtu.be/UggDe8VF7lc

    I've used facing on garments for 50 years now. I don't really think about using them on quilts, but it's a good idea. Thanks for the links.

    As I was learning how to quilt from my mother, that's they only way we did it. I didn't know about binding until I was in my 20's.
