I think the first one is a better color balance. Beautiful fabrics!

I agree with the posts about floral border and dark binding...I think you need something to balance the dark green strip. Although sometimes it is hard to tell without seeing the whole quilttop.

I agree! In this case the first layout echoes your LC and looks terrific!

I like the first one but only if you use the red for binding.
Otherwise i like the second one that is "firm". It says finished.
(Love that floral taupe fabric! Do the red binding! squeeal! )

By now I guess you are thoroughly confused as to which way to go. I really like the dark border (2nd one) but I do have to agree with those who mentioned the floral border and a dark binding. I think that would be beautiful.
