Kinda sad you don't like these fabrics, it is hard to make something out of things you do not like, but some little girl would love a little quilt, all her own; from the cute little poises. Maybe you could go ahead and make a little quilt or 2 and give them to the police department in your home town. The police officers sometimes carry quilts (small) if they need to take a child out of a home in a hurry, this way they could wrap a child up with something that will become their own, just for comfort. Or make and take to a hospital to give children going through chemo.

Poor quality fabric is a waste of time to sew with. You could maybe use it for a craft project like decoupage or similar.

There are lots of quilters on fixed incomes that can not afford to buy new fabric. They may see your ugly fabrics as beautiful. Pass your squares on to one of them for the cost of postage. It would
    make their day.

Well, shoot! I'd been willing to take them off your hands and pay the postage. But what is, is.

I hope you can still dig them out of the trash and send them to some of these people who might love them. Then we would all feel better.

I don"t think it is ugly at all. I would cut them down to 2 1/2" squares and mix it in with all my other 2 1/2" scrap squares that I use for scrap quilts. If you do not want to use it, don't throw it! You can send it my way and I would happily accept it and pay for the shipping.

I took a bunch of my orphan blocks and cut them into 2.5 inch strips, then sewed them end to end. Seperated with 2.5 inch sashing strips. Here is the result. This pic is before quilting.

Oh my goodness, those are lovely. I'd love to have them if you want to sell them.
