What a huge accomplishment...especially with the variety of sampler blocks and all the stars. It would surely have taken me longer than 8 months. Great job and great find on your Marden’s fabric.

Really beautiful! I like the combination of chains and sampler blocks, and your color choices are great.

Beautiful quilt, excellent workmanship. You deserve a vacation and a brownie split.

Thanks all for you kind comments! I was pretty pleased with the outcome.

cat-on-a-mac That is what initially drew me to this quilt!

As far as the fabric choices - it was a kit designed by Red Crinoline Quilts for Marcus Fabrics as a BOM in 2016. I fell in love with it but by the time I wanted to join the BOM at my LQS there were no spots left. I found the kit on Craftsy marked way down and went for it. The only fabric that I did not use was the border fabric - so it is as the designer planned. As I looked at the pics - I realized that since it was taken with a wide angle you really do not see the fabric - so here is a closer shot. There were a lot of 1" HSTs and 1" squares. I did a lot of measuring along the way to ensure it was square and flat (lol).

Very beautiful. The black border makes it look like a picture. Gorgeous quilting. Looks beautiful on the bed.

Your quilt is both beautiful and amazing to me. I cannot even imagine working with all of those 1" squares and 1/2 squares. I just sit here in awe when I look at the quilt.
