Well done. Teaching a child to quilt is priceless. A guest speaker at a quilt show I attended a year or two ago was so glad that group had a special category just for quilts make by youth. He explained to us that expecting a teenager - 20 something just is not realistic. Too many activities, driver's training, working at first jobs, college, etc. But, if that same person learned to sew or quilt as a younger child, they are the ones to come back to it and be our future quilters later in life. So true.
