I really need to learn to NOT read your responses while at work. I snorted out laughter at the "Hannibal" comment. I don't think fava beans have been hugely popular here in the US. I believe they're also called broad beans.....[I think]. Anyway, they're just big, wonderful tasting beans that come from something that looks like a pea pod.

What we call 'broad beans' in English are 'feves' in French - maybe that's the same bean? Feve - fava? I wish I could think of a way to type that sucking through the teeth sound that Hannibal makes...

That sound stays with you, once you have seen the movie
Sorta like never wanting to name your child Clarice :-D :-D
It is hard to believe we pay to be scared out of our wits    I have never had a fava bean, and I don't intend to either.

Hey Y'all. I've got my sewing room pretty well put together. I posted more pix at kwhites pad. But look how beautiful Mel and Patti's, uh, I mean MY centers look! Obviously I have to keep them, 'cause they add so much to the room!

NOW I know why Terri want's to keep all the centers. They truly are beautimous!!

Awwwww, maaaaaaan, Gai, you are so organized! I don't even have a sewing room anymore -- it's now officially a den of chaos.

I'm so sorry to tell you this, though. Those two centers just don't look very good there, so why don't you just forward them to little ol' Ducky. Just think of what they'd do to perk up my den of chaos.
