Default Vintage Christmas by Lori Holt

I finally finished my Vintage Christmas quilt after 8 months. The pattern and I didn't see eye to eye all the time hence the 8 months. Each block is a 6 1/2 in square making some of the pieces as small as 3/4 in. I used a glue stick to stick those tiny buggars together to stitch. So glad it is done and I don't think I will ever make a Lori Holt pattern again. At least one with 6 1/2 in blocks!!!!

This is going to be the Block of the Month project for my Quilt Guild next year. I doubt many will do the 6 1/2 inch blocks! I'm looking forward to it. Yours is beautiful!

I can see why it was challenging, but turned out to be a beauty. Quite nostalgic, vintage looking quilt.

Worth the effort! It's gorgeous. That book is on my bucket list.

That's darling, and a lot of work. 6-1/2" blocks, YIKES!

Great work! I have my book and all the fabrics (not all necessarily Lori Holt fabrics) and all I have to do is get started. I hope mine will look as gorgeous as yours when I'm done!
