    I don't see what the problem is unless you simply don't like the design as much as you thought you would. As close as those stitches are, I'd wonder if you would do damage to the top by trying to remove them. I'd continue on

    Continue...it has a nice flow and any flaws will be lost in the 'busyness' of the pattern.
