Thank you very much for sharing your story. I definitely will not be doing that anymore. Quite an eye opener. Thank you.

I think I read this some time ago, and since then have been scolding myself (and stopping myself) from doing so! I keep *then* telling myself I really need to buy one of those bracelet-style pin cushions! One of these days I will! Good to be reminded.

    Wow, what a harrowing story!

Anyone know what a "cotton wool sandwich" is?

My mother used to lecture me about this. Usually as she was hemming one of my dresses with pins in her mouth.

I have not counted the times since reading this post that I have said to myself, "don't put pins in your mouth". Guilty but being more aware and hope to break this nasty and dangerous habit. Thanks for alerting us.

My father-in-law used to tell me all the time not to do that. I did it more back then than I do now. I rarely do it anymore and will be more conscience than ever now. Wow, she went through a lot...

Wow, thanks for sharing, I’ve never seen that before. I’ll think twice if I think about doing that again.

Thanks for the reminder-I have been guilty of that many years ago. Finally have stopped. In my dreams I have a mouth full of pins, I am trying to take out without shallowing-strange dream but true.
