Post Patterns for using Hoffman Bali Poppy

I have 4 packages of these 2 1/2" strips and would like to make a queen sized quilt from them. Does anyone have suggestions for a pattern I could use? I have never sewn with the 2 1/2" pre-cut strips before. Thank You for any suggestions.

Hi Barb! I'm a believer in prewashing but don't usually do it with jelly rolls.

How about something like this, which is done as a lap quilt with one pack:

I would look through the free pattern tab on Bonnie Hunter’s Quiltville site. I would also go to the Hoffman site and see if they have a free pattern for that fabric line.

Cozy Quilt Designs uses almost exclusively 2 1/2" strips in their patterns called "Strip Club" patterns and does videos to go along with most of them.
Something I didn't know was they will do any of their patterns as a PDF if you request it in the comments section when you order and then they will refund the shipping and send you the PDF via e-mail.

Go to Missouri Star Quilt Company - Jenny Doan comes out with a new tutorial every Friday. She only makes quilts using precuts such as jelly rolls, layer cakes, and such. She has a free app also (the icon is a little yellow bird in a turquoise square) Everything she shows is explained thoroughly & is easy to understand. There are hundreds of patterns to choose from.

These are all just super. Suggestions for using 2-1/2” strips. I love all the Hoffman Bali Pops - but I have lots of trouble using them - they look so,pretty I hate to take them apart (same with Jelly Rolls)😁😁😁 I know you will fund zillions of cool patterns for the Bali Pops - choosing is the hardest!!!!!

Jordan Fabrics has a lot of patterns using jelly rolls. Check out her you tube channel for not only patterns but how to as well.
