    Default Little Jack's peacock

You all may remember my Jack's Peacock quilt inspired by the enthusiasm of a 3yo: Jack's Peacock . Well that one was not for him. I've been intending to do a different one for him. As it happens, he likes all birds. I had this bird panel UFO and it was somewhat similar in size to the peacock panel I ordered for him. So with some cutting of the length and adding to the width, the panel became the back of the birds attic window. Here are both sides

Love it! I have those same birds, but haven't 'windowed' (is that a word?) them yet. Beautiful quilt!

How fun that the little guy loves birds. A future pilot maybe? I have new little chicks in my back yard. Finches and robins. So cute! The bird bath brings all sort of birds to visit my yard. About a dozen types this year. I hope the little guy has a bird book to look at to teach him what each one is.
I bet he loves the quilt and will always remember you fondly for making it for him.

Great way to use both panels and you know he's going to love it with all those different birds and the peacock.
