Interleave Quilts and a Picture
This technique was shown at our virtual guild meeting this weekend so I thought I'd give it a try.
It is called Interleaved Quilts and it was quite fun, only took 4 fat quarters, a backing, batting and some fusible graph interfacing if you've got it. Otherwise, you can draw the lines on.

What I learned....
-take your time figuring out the colour placement. I didn't and ended up with the same fabric whre there should have been contrast
-keep going even when it looks like no pattern is happening.
-cut your strips one at a time. Takes more time, but you don't get mixed up.
-have 2 cutting boards so you don't have to move your fabric.
-make an x at the top of your batting so you know which way is the top at the start.
-for your first one, try an easier one like a curve...I, of course, had to do the difficult one with diagonal lines for my first try. I will never learn.
Anyhow...even though it has its problems, I still think it turned out OK for a first try. So, give this a shot and post your pics!

Wow!!! I love this technique. And the link is perfect. I just messaged myself with the info so I can remember where to find it. For anyone who uses an iPad, not sure if you know but you can message yourself With all kinds of things, I do it consistently since my mind has totally disappeared during the last 5 months plus of not being able to almost go anywhere😬😬😬😬
