We are home! I have come to the conclusion I am just too old to travel like a teenager! We drove last Sunday from 10:30pm to 9:30 am... 650 miles. Bought the trailer in Ohio. Then drove 5 half more hours to our son's in Indiana -- another 460 miles!!! Poor hubby did all the driving. I navigated and slept about an hour. Home is wonderful!!!

Macybaby, the tracking info notes that you received the package on the 12th. Hoping this is accurate.

CarrieM - I go to the post office tomorrow to pick up all the mail being held from last week. Can't wait to quilt again... even though I have no idea what I will do with the blues.

Mona - how pretty it is turning out. I have this one last and have an idea or two. But as all other rounds have gone, I'll change my mind!

LeAnn - corner baskets are so lovely. It is so amazing how our quilts are turning out.... just beautiful!

Bugaroo....yes, a lot of travel time. We aim at 300 to 350 miles. We are too old for anything more. Want time to relax at each campsite and take in the area. Glad you are back safe and sound.

I also received a package yesterday! Thanks Mona.

I'll have time this afternoon in my craft room to check on matching fabrics and if I can't find anything I have an appt in town tomorrow so will stop at the LQS.

Going to physical therapy today to see if they can figure out why my leg keeps going numb. At least the x-rays showed no broken bones or cracks. Haven't been able to go to the basement for 2 weeks, a little leery that I might fall again and I don't need that for sure. Hubby may be bringing a sewing machine upstairs for me to get started, thank heaven he can match fabrics well
Does Group 2 have until Nov. 1 to mail? or is it Oct. 15th? I have got to get going on this center.....

Jaba - you have the whole month of October to work on round #4 so don't stress. If you can't complete just let me know and I can complete it. It is so difficult to just be - just sit - and know you have a stash of fabric and ideas galore! we all understand.

I am in Group 1. This is round 4. This one had me thinking when it came in the mail. I knew it needed blue and red. I had another idea in mind so I started sewing strip sets. I finished the first one and laid it next to the leaf border and it screamed at me...this is it!!! I Added a red dresden plate applique on each corner. Iceblossom said I could over lay her border. I think it turned out nicely. I hope you like it, givio.
