Laf, thank you so much blocks are perfect! Just checking in to let you know I’m still here. Haven’t started on boom blocks yet, this sciatic nerve really slows everything down to a crawl. Need to get a row done for a round robin, then I’ll start on blocks. Hubby brought up a sewing machine so I can sew a little and then lay down to calm it down, still a pain but at least I can sew a little bit.

Janice - terrific job ob KLAWs animals - but what fun fabric!
LAF2019 - i love the log cabin - and that brown fabric is awesome with it. Will go with the rest. thank you.
Jaba - so glad you have your machine. just knowing it is close by is comfort! Just take it slow and easy cause I know sciatic nerve pain and how it affects all over. Feel better.

Today I pulled out two fabrics that requested lots of color - and I had so much fun. Here are ones for LAF2019 and KLAWS Somehow I even have the animals facing the right ways - I amaze myself sometimes!

I just finished my first block and it is for Bugaroo. I figure if I do one block a day I will have them done pretty quickly but I know there are a few things coming up in the next month or so. Another rhizotomy on my back. Then I will be able to sit longer at the sewing machine. DH's PT will be done the end of this month. After all this I will be like a race horse.

Juliab - love that block. It is one I admire but have never done! Being a caregiver is tough work, especially when you are hurting yourself. Going in and out of doctor's offices and PT - we can relate. But I know I have to make "me" time and reach out to others to achieve it. I finally found a good Massage therapist. My other one who was associated with my chiropractor, left during Covid. So now I am starting to get my back and neck better. He is a miracle worker for my TMJ. So I make sure my DH is here to watch my mom. So important.
Now to take a few more F8's to bedroom to match with fabric.

Juliasb, your butterfly block for Bugaroo is beautiful. I've not made that one either. Nice first block. Remember, we have until December so try not to stress yourself. Take care of you, too.

TG, great colorful blocks for LAF and Klaws.

I want to let you all know that TravellingGramma will be finishing the blocks I will not be able to sew. She approached me very early on and graciously offered her help. She’s already bounced some ideas off of me and I can assure you they’re better than my ideas. Thank you so much, TG. I am also very thankful to all of you who offered your help. It means a lot.

Juliasb, beautiful Hunters Star.. I love that block. Thank you : )

I've stopped sewing Booms to finish my round on Round Robin. I'm doing paper pieced and pulling my hair out! They are beautiful but aggravating. Love seeing everyone's blocks. Travelinggramma, love your colors... so bright and coloful! Have4boys love the color blends in your block... very warm block.
