Default Celtic Quilt Wallhanging

First, I found a Celtic picture I liked on Pinterest. I then enlarged the picture using (free) software that converts the picture to a very large (poster) size. I then transferred the picture to the background fabric, appliqued the pieces, and then quilted it on my longarm. After it was quilted, I applied the black bias tape to cover the raw edges. The finished size is 65" x 65". This is a gift for my daughter and her b/f and will be displayed in their log cabin house. I'm happy with the results!

Oh! I'd be very happy with that too. I am sure your daughter will be proud to display that in her house. Amazing creativity :-)

I love what lengths you went to to make the piece. What love and talent you have.

Great Celtic wall hanging! I like the meander you did in the background as it doesn’t destruct from the design!

What a great focal point for their house. Thanks for the insight in how you achieved such a unique size and look.
