Question Looking for a pattern - Little ZZ Christmas placemats

    Good afternoon! Happy November!

I was wasting time on Pinterest - looking for projects to make - and came across this pattern, the Little ZZ Christmas Placemats.

The link does not work, as the pattern appeared or was available in 2013. Does anyone have this pattern? It was a free pattern, from what I can tell. If so, would you share?

    Many thanks!
    Michele

There are lots of tutorials for zig zag quilts. Pick one and make it into
placemats. If it was me I would use 2 or 2.5" strips for placemats.
    Here's a tutorial.

EasyPeezy has it. I made a full-size quilt with this pattern, it's very easy. For placemats, you'll probably want to shrink the size of your strips to 1.5 or 1 inch.

This is a different way to make a two color Chevron (aka Zig Zag) quilt using 10 inch squares. which make up really great for a bed size quilt. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hipG9u4TzMY

There would be so may seams in a placemat with a smaller zig zag that I wouldn't recommend using this for a placemat, but it is something for others to keep in mind.

This pattern was by Evelyn Young and was based on her Zig and Zag pattern from F&P summer 2012. I did find the ZZ pattern online: https://www.quiltingdaily.com/produc...tern-download/ and a similar pattern from another designer "A Little Zig Zag Quilt" : https://www.quiltingdaily.com/produc...ry=little%20zz

That being said, I do have the pattern, but I'm not comfortable posting it unless we get permission from the moderator.

Sue I think your second link is it! I like this board and members are so informative. All Fabricgator needs to really know is how wide and long the rails are. You really can't mess it up as long as they are all the same size.
