My sister made me a very cool purse. Each strip is sewn with a different specialty stitch, around the whole purse. Absolutely beautiful! She likes to do embroidery, rather than quilting so much, but does make project Linus quilts.

also, I have lots of visa gift cards so was thinking of getting Electric Quilt. Not sure yet but I'm very tempted. 😀

Yes, she doesn't seem to do much quilting anymore. I'm *trying* not to get sucked into the knitting! But I have been seriously thinking about finding a youtube and teaching myself - as if I needed another hobby. Judy's not helping! 🤣

Hubby and I got ourselves a new headboard for our also new adjustable bed. But for my birthday (Dec. 25) he got me a set of Groovy Boards for my long arm machine, a Hobby Lobby gift card, a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle and had a bunch of VHS tapes put on to DVD's. I also received for my birthday, enough Bath and Body stuff to last until next year, 2 Joann's gift cards and a family photo of one of my daughters family.

My husband and I don't exchange presents either, only because he hates shopping and never knows what to buy. He doesn't take hints well. He only ever wants certain types of cookies and candy at the holidays, and I always make sure he gets them. This morning I ordered myself two cardigan sweaters. Merry Christmas to me.

I would love to have a gift like that.

I got "Quilt As-You-Go Made Modern" by Jera Brandvig. I just might get something finished with her techniques.

Our 33 year old daughter made me a tiny pouch with a hook for my chap stick. She made it on her first sewing machine, the JOY, which Santa brought her in November. Love reading what others do. pat

I got some accuguilt dies and mats, a new glue gun with two temps, bear bird feeder and lots more little things. Had a great time opening gifts and eating meals and cookies and candy. I also got some green stuff.
